“ATOMA” – Holon gallery

The exhibition “Atoma” focused on the black plastic bag. About my artwork: We live in a duality world. The plastic black garbage bag that I printed in Hand-Printed Silkscreen: “Always wish for a happy ending”, underwent transformation and moved from a place of garbage, rubbish, and leftovers to an object of another place: happiness, childhood, and hope, becoming a balloon full of helium that floated and was free. Similar to many of my works, the object gets anthropomorphic and actually “talks” with a double meaning. In the video art, the plastic bag/balloon went on a journey in the city until it arrived at the beach. We experienced moments of worry, optimism, and mystery until the moment it rose and disappeared in the sky.
