A tribe of brothers and sisters – Klang house

The exhibition “A tribe of brothers and sisters” refers to the attack on October 7th and it took the position of revival: the volunteering, the undertaking and the unity that has come after the dark days which Israeli people were suffering. About my artwork: while the government’s systems didn’t function, whom get over the shock were the citizens. Hundreds of projects and volunteers appeared day after day, small and large: all of them to support soldiers, evacuees, injured and whoever needed support, transportation, encouragement, food, clothes, equipment and other. The civilians became an army, and that why I created ”units” and unit badges to prominence sections. “Fabric house” in south Tel-Aviv, which sewed and prepared equipment to the warriors voluntarily was an inspiration to my unit badges series that reflected the spirit of the people for assistance and support.

יחידת הסירים החמים: עבור הנשים והמטבחים שעמדו מבוקר עד ערב ובישלו לחיילים ולחיילות. סיירת קטיף: עבור אלה שהתנדבו בשטחים חקלאיים להציל את הפירות והירקות לאחר נטישת העובדים הזרים. חמ״ל הסברה: עבור המשפיענים וכל אלה שביום אחד שינו את התוכן שלהם ברשת לטובת הסברה למען מדינת ישראל. קומנדו תרומות דם: עבור כל אלה שהתייצבו ועמדו בתורים של שעות לתרום דם למען הפצועים. מטכ״ל בידור: עבור השחקנים והאמנים שבאו ״להרים״ לחיילים ולתת תמיכה מוראלית ופלס״ר שיפצורים: עבור חבורה של נשים שהתקבצו במשך שבועות ״בבית הבד״ של אביגיל בדרום תל אביב, שם הן תפרו והכינו ציוד ללוחמים והיו לי להשראה עבור הפרויקט.
